Results
Results Screen.
Once racing is underway results can be uploaded to BROE as appropriate. This can either be done incrementally during racing or as a bulk upload sometime after racing completes. Do remember that the Rules of Racing stipulate that results must be uploaded within 5 days of the competition.
This page describes the results upload/review process. Once uploaded the meeting must be finalised and this is discussed separately.
Upload Results

The results are uploaded using a spreadsheet format. The exact format is reasonably straightforward but has a number of subtlties that make it preferable to use a software package such as Oar-Online to generate the appropriate upload file. Note that the format for Regatta and Head/Processional racing is different so the correct format for your competition should be used.
To upload click on the Upload results button to be taken to the Upload results screen. On that screen select the appropriate results output file using the Browse button. If the upload is an incremental upload then untick the Full upload button and finally click the Upload results button.
Upload Warnings and Errors
BROE will sanity check the upload and will display any errors if it finds problems or inconsistencies in the uploaded data. Common problems include:
scratched crews that raced;
crews assigned to the wrong event or boat type;
crews missing from the results but not marked as scratched; or
other unexpected issues with the data.
Upload Results with warnings.
Most problems are self obvious and easy to fix. If any prove problematic contact BROE help for assistance. It is advisable to upload a preliminary copy of results soon after the competition to allow time for problems to be resolved. There is no limit on the number of times that the results can be uploaded.
Upload Results with errors.
If the upload contains significant errors BROE will refuse to import the newly uploaded data and will leave the previous data intact. Of course an appropriate error message will be displayed.
View Results
Upon successful upload of results the View results button will become available. This allows the administrator to review the results and to look at the proposed Ranking Points awards for the competition.

Note also that a Finalise meeting button may become available if all of the criteria are satisfied within BROE. It is strongly advised that this operation is deferred until the results have been reviewed to ensure that no silly mistakes have been made.

Click the magnifying glass icon against an individual event to view the full result for that one event.

The results for the event show the details from the upload spreadsheet along with the calculated points for each crew.
View Ranking Points
Ranking Points Display.
Along with the results for each event a full list of the ranking points for each crew is available. Expand the Ranking Points section of the screen to show this.
The display is slightly different for Regatta and Head Races but the layout for each is pretty obvious.
