Data Export
The transaction summary shows the financial aspects of a competition. Where an amount relates to a specific number of crews the number of crwes is shown directly before the related amount.
Reports & Forms
The Reports and Forms are the equivalent of the entry and entry summary forms from the old paper-based version of the entries process.
- Club entry summary
-
A summary of the entries from each club involved in the competition.
- Club crew entry forms
-
The entry form for individual crews.
- Additonal information report
-
The additional information recorded for competition.
Each entry summary and entry form report can be produced for all clubs or just for a single club. Within the report a number of options are available sorting and layout of each report.
The page layout can be either portrait or landscape.
The report can be made fill each page as much as possible using Continuous pagination; produce one page per crew using Break on crew; or to produce a group of pages for a club using Break on club.
Within each report there is an option to include the data for any combination of:
Rejected crews
Withdrawn crews
Scratched crews
Other Reports
Doubling and substitution reports are useful when deciding which crews to accept within the draw and for scheduling the racing to ensure a minimum of issues between crews.
The doubling report can report on a number of different aspects:
Competitor doubling - listing the doubling on a per-competitor basis. This provides a lot of detail which is useful for looking at fine issues or to help identify competitors who are entered in too many events.
Crew doubling - showing an overview of competitor doubling but rounded up to a whole crew level. This way a crew only appears on the list once rather than on a per-competitor basis.
While crew doubling - only showing doubling where the whole crew is doubled. Be warned that this hides lots of doubling where only a few members of a crew are actually doubling. It tends to not show the situation where an eight splits into a four, pair and two singles (the exact behaviour is not known at the time of writing so doing your own research is advised if this report is to be used).
Boat doubling - showing boat doubling between crews. Whilst this is a very useful report for race scheduling it must be taken with a pinch of salt because it relies on a club reporting accurate boat usage along with entries. BROE also is not good at catching boat doubling between clubs and indeed much of this style of doubling is ad-hoc on the day and there is no incentive to record this within BROE!
The substitutions report does exactly what it says on the tin! It reports the subs made against the baseline created when entries closed.
Data Export
The majority of the entry data can be exported as a number of row and column based tables. This is useful for standalone processing in spreadsheets and similar along with transfer of data into other software packages such as Oar-Online. Each table can be exported in either CSV or Excel (.xslx) formats. As a convenience the whole set of tables can be exported as a single .zip file. This zip export is also available as a top-level menu item in the Information menu.
- All exports (in .zip format)

All export tables in individual files within a .zip file.
